Biofeedback employs technology to help people consciously self-control body activities and symptoms which they may have thought were involuntary. It is a powerful tool for helping a client understand the mind-body link. Biofeedback practice rests on the psycholphysiological principle that mind and body are so delicately interwoven that any change in the bodily state will evoke a psychological change and any change in the mind will evoke a physiological change.
